As a Residential HVAC Sales Consultant, you will work directly with homeowners to understand their heating and cooling needs and recommend tailored, energy-efficient solutions. Combining relationship-building, technical guidance and consultative sales, you will help customers make confident decisions for their homes.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet with homeowners to assess their heating and cooling requirements.
- Recommend suitable residential HVAC systems based on the customer’s home, comfort needs and budget.
- Prepare clear, accurate and professional quotes and proposals.
- Explain product features, energy efficiency, installation requirements and available options.
- Manage sales enquiries and follow up with prospective customers.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with customers.
- Coordinate with installation, operations and customer service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Achieve agreed sales targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Stay informed about HVAC products, technology and industry developments.

About You You are a confident,



customer-focused salesperson who enjoys helping people find the right solution. You communicate clearly, build rapport easily and are comfortable discussing both technical and financial considerations with homeowners.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience in residential HVAC, home improvement, trade services or consultative sales.
- A proven ability to convert qualified enquiries into sales.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- The ability to explain technical information in clear, straightforward language.
- Excellent organisation and follow-up skills.
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
- A current Victorian driver licence and the ability to travel to customer homes.
- Familiarity with residential heating and cooling systems—highly regarded but not essential, as product training can be provided.
