Flexibility in the work location (office, remote, or hybrid) and a flexible schedule with a comprehensive benefits program are also part of the package.What You’ll DoRespond to plan inquiries and client requests promptly and professionallyAssist in calculating and processing timely termination, retirement, and death benefits for simple plansSupport the consulting team in fostering strong client relationshipsHelp coordinate information flow between clients and trusteesAssist in reconciling plan assets and membershipsSupport the preparation of year‑end annual pension statementsAssist in preparing membership and asset data for actuarial valuationsApply and interpret basic pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan provisions and legislative requirementsEnsure data accuracy in pension databasesAttend internal training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and topicsParticipate in client meetings and presentations to add valueAssist with special projects as required to support team goalsWhat You BringStrong interest in pension administration and a desire to learnPost‑secondary education (preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science) or relevant courses related to pension administrationBasic knowledge of Defined Benefit pension plans and provincial pension and tax legislation (asset but not required)Strong analytical and mathematical skillsStrong client‑service focus with exceptional professional acumenAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with easeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSalary Range$39,900 – $74,100 CAD AnnualBenefitsComprehensive total rewards package with competitive salary and bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits planFlexibility to work in‑office, virtually, or a combination of bothGenerous company‑matched pensionOpportunities to give back to communities in which we work, live, and serveCareer growth and learning & development opportunitiesEEO StatementTelus is proud to foster an inclusive culture that embraces diversity.
