Overview Job Title: Product Development ManagerSalary Range: CAD$85,220.00 – CAD$106,550Working Type: On-SiteTo manage new product development and existing product development projects so they launch on time and achieve commercial targets. Achieve this through efficient collaboration with customers and internal functions, in particular Procurement, Operations and Quality.Responsibilities Project Manage new products from start to launch following the New Product Development Stage & Gate ProcessThe main point of contact for customer product developersWeekly meetings with customer developersCommunicate NPD Briefs from customers to wider business, set up and manage projects on internal systemLead cross functional Feasibility Meetings to establish if & how concepts can be made and at what costGather information for product costings based on recent product development brief supplied by the customer and the Commercial teamLead the presentation of product submissions to Walmart alongside the Commercial teamRefine and align products with customer feedbackUpdate relevant stakeholders as customer request changes to ensure product is still viable and any changes in cost are captured and communicatedStay informed about industry trends, competitor activities,



and market launches to identify opportunities for growth and innovationHandover customer approved concepts and documentation to Process & Site Teams for scale up but continue to lead projectLead critical path management to LaunchChair cross functional weekly product development meetings. Document actions and progress.Gather data for Post Launch Evaluation 12 weeks after launchQualifications & Skills Proven track record in at least 1 New Product Development Management role ideally working with one of the leading Canadian retailers or equivalent3 years in Product Development/ManagementExperienced in presenting to and building strong relationships with retail Product Developers5 years in food manufacturing/retailingAbility to spot emerging trends and initiatives within the food marketExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrable experience of successful internal and external stakeholder relationship managementGraduate level capabilityStrong project management skillsCan quickly adapt to change & manage multiple projectsNumerate, analytical and adept at Excel, Word & PowerPointA full driving licenceHiltonFoods Canada is committed to building a culture of diversity and inclusion and are committed to providing equal opportunities to all employees.
