Job Summary

We are seeking a part time laborer to assist in hydroseeder operation and general labor related to landscape work (raking, shoveling). This role involves working outdoors to perform a range of landscaping tasks that support the aesthetic and functional quality of residential and commercial properties.

Duties

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and hydroseeder
- Lifting and loading mix ingredients into seeder (50lb bags of seed, mulch and fertilizer)
- Assist in site preparation with raking and moving of topsoil as needed
- Maintain Hydroseeding equipment (greasing and rinsing of equipment)
- Management of hoses on site during application
- Follow safety protocols and ensure work areas are clean and organized

Skills

- Experience operating small engines and pump equipment
- Hydroseeding equipment knowledge is a plus (not required)
- Previous landscape experience is a plus
- Ability to perform construction-related tasks within landscape projects




- Valuable physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to work as part of a team
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed
- Drivers license not required, but must have reliable transport to and from our shop (located in Port Colborne)

Schedule

- Part-time, seasonal (Late April-Early November)
- 10-20 hours/week as needed
- Monday–Friday + occasional weekends
- Typical work day 7am-5pm

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in outdoor work, landscaping, and construction.
