About Azteca Contracting Azteca Contracting is a licensed contracting company based in Hamilton, Ontario. We work with property management companies and building owners across Hamilton and the GTA, handling apartment unit turnovers, painting, drywall repairs, and general maintenance. When a tenant moves out, we get the unit back to rent-ready condition, and the cleaner is the final step that makes it move-in ready.

We're a small, family-run business where everyone pitches in. We take the time to train people properly and give them room to grow as the company grows.

The role We're hiring a full-time In-Suite Cleaner to join our team. You'll travel between apartment buildings across the GTA in a company vehicle, cleaning vacant units after our painting and repair crews have finished. Your job is to take a unit from "construction done" to "ready for the new tenant to walk in." This is detailed, hands-on cleaning, not light tidying.

A typical day

- Pick up the company vehicle and load your cleaning supplies
- Drive to the building (anywhere in the GTA)
- Walk through the unit and note anything that needs attention
- Deep clean the kitchen: ovens, stovetops, range hoods, dishwashers, fridges, cabinets inside and out, counters, and sinks
- Deep clean bathrooms: tubs, showers, toilets, vanities, mirrors, tile, and grout
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces after painting, including baseboards, window sills, ledges, closet shelving, light fixtures, and vents




- Clean interior windows and tracks, and exterior windows where accessible
- Clean floors throughout: sweep, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean
- Clean balconies, including sweeping and removing bird droppings and debris
- Remove any leftover garbage and do a final walkthrough so the unit is spotless and ready to show

Key responsibilities

- Move-out and post-renovation cleaning of vacant apartment units to a rent-ready standard
- Deep cleaning of kitchen appliances and bathrooms
- Post-paint dusting and detail cleaning throughout the unit
- Balcony and occasional window cleaning
- Garbage and debris removal from the unit
- Working cleanly and respectfully in occupied buildings, keeping hallways and common areas tidy
- Keeping the company vehicle and cleaning supplies organized and stocked
- Reporting back to the office on completed units and anything that needs follow-up

What we're looking for

- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in move-out, turnover, post-construction, or commercial cleaning. However, it's not required, as we'll train you on our standards, but you should already know your way around a deep clean




- Valid Ontario G or G2 driver's licence (required as you'll be driving a company vehicle between buildings)
- Physical ability and comfortability bending, kneeling, scrubbing, lifting, and being on your feet all day
- Comfortable with the tough parts of the job, including greasy ovens, neglected bathrooms, and balcony messes
- Reliable and punctual. Units need to be ready on time for new tenants, so we depend on you showing up
- Able to work independently and manage your own day between sites
- Strong attention to detail. Property managers inspect these units, and the little things get noticed
- Professional and respectful around tenants, building staff, and property managers

Nice to have

- WHMIS certification
- Experience with turnover or post-construction cleaning
- Spanish is an asset (part of our team is bilingual), but not required
