- Mechanical cleaning with high-pressure equipment, together with cleaning solutions for larger floor areas, walls, working tables, containers and equipment.
- Cleaning using brushes and scrubbers for dismantled equipment or in general for smaller surfaces.
- General Maintenance Activities: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors, remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty waste containers, Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
Requirements
- Ability to work in a moderate to a cold environment.
- Ability to work in a routine focused environment and complete labour intensive work;
- Able to lift 23KG, move heavy equipment and supplies
- Ability to work 11am to 7pm, 3-4 days per week,
with weekday and weekend availability
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Prior food plant sanitation and/or janitorial experience is an asset. No diploma or training is required to apply for this position . Training is given on-site.
