With a 7x7 schedule, strong premiums, and the chance to work with a skilled field services team, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants variety, independence, and the satisfaction of seeing their work make an immediate impact.Reports to:General Supervisor, Field ServicesShift:7x7 – 12h per shift, rotation between days and nightsTerm:1 Year ContractAllowances:Additional premiums and allowances are associated with this position due to locationSafety Sensitive:Yes – drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be requiredTravel:up to 25% within Canada and the USARelocation:This position does not offer relocationKey Job ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specs for industrial installationsWire, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems using detailed electrical drawingsTest electrical and electronic components for continuity, voltage, current, and resistanceInstall, maintain, and repair motors, generators,
alternators, industrial batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic control systemsWork on industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and keep accurate recordsMaintain quality standards and follow all safety rules and PPE requirementsParticipate in the on‑call rotation as neededQualifications / RequirementsJourneyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred)Basic knowledge of PCL controls and wiringStrong understanding of electrical theory and rig‑specific power wiringSolid troubleshooting skills and the ability to make sound decisions in the fieldStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure in a rapid‑paced environmentWillingness to travel and spend time away from home when requiredValid Alberta Driver’s LicenseMust have no restrictions for access for any mine siteEqual Prospect EmployerWe are an equal‑opportunity employer.
