To achieve these important goals, the Project Manager will define project requirements and scope, acquire project resources, and supervise the efforts of project team members. documentation and other factors necessary for successWork with clients to deliver the end projectPrepare and review specification and concept reportsFoster new business development opportunitiesMaintain and grow current business and client relationshipsProvide mentoring to technical staff, assigning duties as requiredVisit the site once under construction every 2-3 monthsProvide quality and cost control during the design and construction processMaintain project schedules and project cost summaries to track work progress, budget status, and manpower resource utilizationEscalate and identify the need for additional services and feesAssist with Shop drawing reviews as requiredOvertime as requiredEducationUndergraduate or Graduate Degree in Electrical or other relevant engineering discipline is preferredOther professional qualifications will be considered coupled with relevant experienceCompletion of a degree or diploma in project management will be considered an assetLEED accreditation is an assetExperience and Requirements10+ years of industry related experience including 1-2 years experience in project managementLicensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or actively working toward P.Eng. designation, or a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET)Strong understanding of engineering contractors, suppliers and manufacturersMechanical and Electrical coordination experienceConstruction experience will be considered an assetDemonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methodsFlexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlinesHighly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skillsAdvanced interpersonal, team building,
