Senior Mechanical Project EngineerPosition: Senior Mechanical Project EngineerLocation: Niagara Region, Ontario (Global travel opportunities)Salary:$105,000 – $130,000+ advantages + career growthWhy Join This Organization?Competitive salary of$105,000 – $130,000based on experienceComprehensive benefits packageStable organization with a 30+ year track record of successDiverse and technically challenging engineering projectsOpportunities for North American and international travelCollaborative and supportive team environmentDirect involvement in projects from design through commissioningOpportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing businessAbout the RoleAs a key member of the engineering team, you will lead and support the design, execution, and delivery of custom industrial systems for clients operating in heavy industrial environments.Working closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing personnel, and fellow engineers, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign hydraulic, lubrication, and custom mechanical systems for industrial applicationsPrepare engineering drawings, schematics, layouts, specifications, and bills of materialsSupport project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and technical executionCollaborate with manufacturing, procurement, vendors, and customers throughout project lifecyclesParticipate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations and solutionsEnsure designs comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsProvide technical support during fabrication, assembly, testing, installation, and commissioningTravel periodically to customer sites throughout North America and internationally for project support, troubleshooting,
and start-up activitiesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practicesQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline5–7 years of progressive engineering experience within industrial, hydraulic, lubrication, fluid power, process, or heavy equipment environmentsProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility considered an assetExperience developing technical drawings, layouts, and engineering documentationStrong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipmentExperience working directly with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teamsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skillsAbility and willingness to travel as requiredWho Will Be Successful in This Role?The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
