The program focuses on housing stability and prevention by supporting youth to secure and maintain safe, appropriate housing. Supports include individualized housing‑focused support, assistance with accessing income supports, housing advocacy, landlord mediation, moving and setup assistance, and referrals to ongoing community‑based services.Position SummaryThe Outreach Housing Worker is part of the Youth Housing team and provides 1‑1 case management and support to diverse youth residing in PCRS‑run homes, community homes, and supports youth with housing search in the community. Staff help develop personal plans, provide life skills and support group activities such as house meetings and outings. This position involves developing relationships with youth as well as liaising with professionals such as social workers, school personnel, and community staff. Workers may also provide moving assistance, landlord advocacy, and mediation.ResponsibilitiesProvide individualized housing supports to vulnerable youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessnessDevelop supportive and engaging relationships with youth,
