Contribute to protected AI innovations as a Senior Artificial Intelligence Platform Engineer at BMO in a hybrid work setting. Design and govern the core platform capabilities for enterprise AI.
This role requires hands-on experience in building infrastructure pieces like the AI Gateway and Policy Engine for BMO’s AI platform. You will collaborate with team leads during design phases and mentor emerging engineers, ensuring the delivery of well-functioning and compliant AI services. Experience with production operations will enhance your ability to deliver on key platform responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement features within the AI platform
• Conduct on-call duties for service maintenance




• Develop APIs and tooling for platform integrations
• Write maintainable and efficient code
• Connect AI activity with policy evidence for compliance
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Minimum of 5 years in software/platform engineering
• Proficient in cloud technologies like AWS or Azure
• Strong coding skills in Python or Go
• Understanding of API and gateway services
