Job Title: Infrastructure Analyst

Job Type: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)

Location: 585 8th Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB, T2P 1G1

Work Model: Hybrid – preferred onsite 3–4 days per week

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: December 15, 2026

Hours: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day

Rate: $57/hr T4 OR $68/hr Inc.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Enterprise Monitoring / Infrastructure Analyst to administer and optimize the enterprise IT and OT SolarWinds environment. The resource will be responsible for infrastructure monitoring, alerting, reporting, incident coordination, and improving observability across servers, cloud platforms, datacenter systems, and core infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain the enterprise IT and OT SolarWinds platform.
- Monitor servers, cloud workloads, virtualization, storage, and datacenter services.
- Design and refine alerts, thresholds, and event correlation.
- Coordinate incident response for monitoring-related issues.
- Analyze performance, capacity, and operational trends.
- Build dashboards, reports, and service performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and OT teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Support automation, predictive monitoring, and observability improvements.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training on monitoring tools and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience





- Strong SolarWinds administration experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience monitoring servers, cloud workloads, virtualization, storage, and datacenter infrastructure.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, VMs, and Entra ID.
- Windows Server administration, patching, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with incident, problem, and event management.
- Ability to design alerts, manage thresholds, correlate events, and support remediation.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and OT teams.

Nice to Have

- ServiceNow and ITSM experience.
- PowerShell, REST APIs, and infrastructure automation.
- High availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency experience.
- Hybrid on-premises/cloud environment experience.
- AIOps, event intelligence, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
- SolarWinds HCO / Observability experience.
- Power BI and advanced analytics.
- Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
- SRE and contemporary platform operations experience.
- Automated remediation / self-healing workflows.

SolarWinds, SolarWinds HCO/Observability, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure VMs, Entra ID, Windows Server, ServiceNow, PowerShell, REST APIs, Power BI, CMDB/ITSM, Terraform/Bicep/ARM, AIOps and Observability tools.
