The Chance
SFS Group Canada is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Inside Sales & Customer Service Representativeto support customers from initial inquiry through order delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who communicates clearly, follows through, learns products and systems quickly, and takes pride in getting the details right.
You will be a key point of contact for customers, working closely with sales, operations, purchasing and shipping to provide accurate pricing, product availability and delivery information. The right candidate is comfortable balancing customer service, order processing and proactive sales support in a fast-paced setting.
What You Will Do
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, questions and complaints by phone, email and in person; resolve routine issues and escalate unusual or complex matters appropriately.
- Assess customer needs, and recommend appropriate products.
- Prepare accurate quotations and enter sales orders into the system.
- Confirm pricing, product availability, lead times and delivery details, and help expedite customer orders when required.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve order, inventory, pricing or delivery issues and keep customers informed.
- Help customers identify economical order quantities and practical shipping options while balancing service, cost and company requirements.
- Source additional or non-standard products when required, following established pricing and margin guidelines.
- Maintain complete and accurate customer, quotation and opportunity information in the CRM system.
- Follow up on quotations and contact existing and prospective customers to strengthen relationships and generate additional business.
- Monitor assigned customer accounts, open orders and outstanding commitments, taking action before issues affect the customer.
- Work toward individual and team sales and service objectives established by the manager.
- Follow all company procedures, safety policies and applicable regulations.

- Customer relationships grow through responsive service and thoughtful sales follow-up.
- Internal teams can rely on clear communication, organized records and consistent attendance.
What You Bring Three to five years of experience in inside sales, customer service, order management or a similar customer-facing role; distribution or manufacturing experience is preferred.
Solid customer-service judgment and professional telephone and email communication skills.
A friendly, helpful and solutions-focused approach,
including the ability to remain composed when handling complaints or competing priorities.
Demonstrated accuracy in data entry, quotations, pricing and order processing.
Robust organization and the ability to prioritize multiple requests without losing track of details.
Initiative, accountability and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
Comfort learning technical products and using business systems; SAP S/4HANA and CRM experience are assets.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, sales or a related field is an asset.
Knowledge of construction products or the building-envelope industry is an asset.
