We are seeking a confident and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Calgary sales team. This is an important role within the organization and reports directly to the Director of Sales.

The Opportunity The Inside Sales Representative will communicate with prospective and existing customers, explain the benefits of selling through auction, and help customers make informed decisions about their vehicles.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who understands customer decision-making, builds trust quickly, and can clearly explain sales processes and recommendations both in person and through electronic communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to inbound sales inquiries by telephone, email, and in person.
- Conduct outbound telephone and email communication with prospective customers.
- Explain Regal Auctions’ services, sales processes, fees, timelines, and seller benefits clearly and professionally.
- Provide practical guidance to customers considering selling their vehicles through auction.
- Research vehicle values and recent selling prices using multiple market-data sources.
- Review relevant vehicle details and market information to support pricing and sales recommendations.
- Help customers understand how competitive bidding,



market exposure, and an established buyer base can benefit vehicle sellers.
- Follow up with prospective customers and maintain accurate records of sales activity.
- Build positive, long-term relationships with customers.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the sales and operations teams.
- Perform other sales-related duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.

Qualifications and Skills

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, or a related position.
- Experience with high-involvement or consultative sales is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain detailed processes and recommendations in clear, customer-friendly language.
- Strong inbound and outbound telephone and email skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs, address concerns, and instill confidence.
- Strong research, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable working with vehicle pricing information and multiple online data sources.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of vehicles,



automotive sales, or the auction industry is an asset.

Schedule and Location This is a full-time, in office position at Regal Auctions’ central Calgary location. The successful candidate must be available to work occasional Saturdays based on the auction schedule and operational requirements.

Compensation

Compensation will be competitive and will reflect the successful candidate’s sales ability, relevant experience, automotive knowledge, and overall skill set.
