Inside Sales Representative – Fergus, Ontario

Summit Water is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Fergus.

This is a outstanding role for someone who enjoys working with customers, has some technical aptitude, and wants to build a career in the pump and water treatment industry. You do not need to be a pump expert—we can teach you our products and applications—but some previous experience in plumbing, water treatment, pumps, mechanical equipment, industrial distribution or a related field would be ideal.

What You'll Do

- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
- Help customers select the right pumps, water treatment equipment and related products
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers
- Work closely with our outside sales team and suppliers
- Enter and manage opportunities in our CRM
- Help customers with product, pricing, availability and order questions
- Learn our products and become increasingly knowledgeable about pump and water treatment applications

What We're Looking For

- Some previous inside sales, customer service or technical sales experience
- Experience around pumps, plumbing, water treatment, mechanical equipment or industrial products is a strong asset
- Valuable verbal communication skills and comfortable dealing with customers




- Technically curious and willing to learn
- Organized, dependable and good at following things through
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- A team player with a positive attitude

Location: Fergus, Ontario

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 depending on experience

Benefits: Extended health benefits, RRSP matching and three weeks' vacation

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
