College for Arts and Technology is looking for a part-time instructor to teach in the Interior Design and Technology Program. The successful candidate will provide education through learning-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the ever-changing requirements in the marketplace. Course instruction is three (3) hours per week for an eleven (11) week term. Course schedules are flexible and may be delivered in the evenings. Course is scheduled to begin October 2026.
Job RequirementsInstructional Areas Include:
- Revit
Education & Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Technology or related field, and extensive professional experience will be considered.
- Minimum of two years’ work experience and currently working in an Interior Design or Architectural work environment.
- Experience instructing working professionals or at a post-secondary or college institution is an asset.
- NCIDQ certification preferred.
- Membership in a professional association tied to area of instruction preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with students.
- Outstanding conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
