The Field Service Representative (FSR) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. This position reports to the Canada Central District Manager and is part of the Hematology Field Service Organization located in Southwestern Ontario and will be supporting a territory around that region including Northern Ontario.ResponsibilitiesIndependently serve customers by performing troubleshooting, repair, installation, validation, and preventive maintenance on designated instrumentation.Complete timely and accurate preventive maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs, and service documentation. Deliver exceptional customer service to Beckman Coulter clients, including technical training on diagnostic products and systems.Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building on and enhancing the relationship with the customer to ultimately become a perceived partner in their business.



Travel throughout the district’s territory and across Canada, experiencing the various locations where instrumentation is utilized.QualificationsTechnical diploma or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology or Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relatable experience (field service experience preferred).Ability to travel to and from the United States, hold a valid driver’s license, and meet Beckman Coulter’s safe driver criteria in compliance with the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy and vendor credentialing requirements (annual background checks, immunizations, and required training).Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the past three years. Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight travel within the assigned service district and occasionally to other districts in Canada. Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, turning, crouching/crawling, pushing/pulling, and prolonged sitting or standing. Reach at, above, and below shoulder level and good hand/finger dexterity.Preferred ExperienceServicing hematology, chemistry, immunochemistry instrumentation.Experience servicing IVD instrumentation in chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and lab automation.Remote/work arrangement and compensationBeckman Coulter Diagnostics offers a remote/home position with frequent local and regional travel up to 60% of the time. This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement. The annual salary range is 70,000–90,000 CAD. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
