We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Conduct commercial cleaning duties such as window washing, floor polishing, and surface disinfecting to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs needed, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and replenished as needed
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as scheduled or required
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety standards is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if necessary
