Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility.We currently have an opportunity for a QA Technician (21 Month Term) at our Lethbridge, AB location.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rulesParticipate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times: Always using the required personal protective equipmentEnsuring that authorized work is completed safelyUtilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazardsParticipating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiativesReporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedureProvide quality assurance testing, analysis and technical supportAnalysis of blends and finished product to ensure specifications are metTesting & reporting on incoming raw materials,
packaging & finished goodsInterface with production personnel and management to ensure operating conditions are maintained and laboratory specifications are effectively implementedContribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of the food safety and quality management systemMust work within established OH&S regulations and comply with all Company policies & proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsDiploma/Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, ChemistryComprehension of & familiarity with lab instrumentationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly describe the food safety and quality requirements for producing food products to all staffExcellent written, documentation and verbal communication skillsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft applications specifically Word, ExcelExcellent interpersonal skills and team work abilityWilling to work shifts and overtimeRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a adaptable benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.Apply by September 23, 2026.Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
