Dandy Salon Spa is looking for a Journeyman Hairstylist to join our team!

For more than 40 years, Dandy has been part of the Edmonton hair and beauty community. Located on Whyte Avenue, close to the University of Alberta and University Hospital, we’ve built our salon on great hair, exceptional service, education, and — most importantly — relationships with our clients and our team.

We’re looking for a hairstylist with at least 3 years of salon experience who loves what they do, takes pride in their work, and genuinely enjoys making people feel good about themselves.

What You’ll Do

- Create beautiful cuts, colours, styles, and finishes
- Take the time to really listen to your clients and understand what they’re looking for
- Provide thoughtful consultations and personalized recommendations
- Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest
- Build lasting relationships with your clients
- Keep learning and growing through education, new techniques, and industry trends
- Work as part of a team that genuinely supports one another
- Bring your own personality, creativity, and passion to the salon

What We’re Looking For
- Journeyman Hairstylist certification
- At least 3 years of skilled salon experience
- Strong cutting and colouring skills
- Confidence working with a variety of hair types and services
- Great communication and consultation skills
- A genuine interest in taking care of your clients
- Someone who is reliable, positive, professional, and enjoys being part of a team
- Experience with Aveda or Kevin Murphy is an asset, but definitely not required
- An established clientele is a great asset,



but it’s not a must — we’re happy to support someone who is motivated and excited to grow their clientele
