Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman/woman B Pressure Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced welding tasks on pressure vessels, piping systems, and ductwork with precision and safety at the forefront. Your expertise will contribute to the successful fabrication, assembly, and installation of complex metal structures, ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Duties

- Execute pressure welding operations using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and plasma cutting techniques to fabricate durable, high-quality components.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble and weld metal parts according to specifications.
- Perform rigging tasks to safely lift, position, and secure heavy materials or equipment during fabrication or installation processes.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math skills to measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components precisely.
- Operate machinery such as press brake machines, crane systems, forklifts, and machining tools to facilitate efficient production workflows.
- Conduct welding inspections and quality checks to ensure weld integrity meets pressure vessel standards and safety regulations.




- Assist with mechanical assembly tasks involving ductwork, piping systems, or structural frameworks in manufacturing or construction settings.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Journeyman/woman B Pressure Welder with certification demonstrating advanced welding proficiency.
- Extensive knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, plasma cutting, and blueprint reading.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in rigging, machining, schematics interpretation, and assembly processes.
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, press brake machines, power tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience working with ductwork, piping systems, or pressure vessels within manufacturing or construction environments.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work.
- Valid certifications in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder), rigging certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.
