Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit bending, panel installation, and equipment setup.
- Work on industrial electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring proper operation and troubleshooting faults.
- Perform renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues proactively and implement effective solutions.




- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure electrical components are installed correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.

Experience

- Proven experience as a licensed Journeyman/Woman Electrician with a strong background in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with ease.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation controls is highly desirable.
- Prior involvement in renovation projects or construction environments is preferred.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, along with power tools like drills and saws.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work and adherence to local electrical codes is essential.
- Additional handyman experience or general construction skills will be considered a plus for versatility in the role.
