We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Woman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction, and maintenance, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.

The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute project plans accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for installation and repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper integration of plumbing components within building frameworks
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes at all times during project execution




- Troubleshoot issues within plumbing systems using basic math and technical knowledge to identify solutions

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge with a focus on plumbing systems
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required
- Proficient in maintenance procedures related to plumbing and construction environments
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of carpentry principles relevant to plumbing installations
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and working in physically demanding environments
- Solid understanding of safety standards and building codes related to plumbing work

This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic who can deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining safety standards. Pay: $39.00 per hour
