Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and building codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform wiring, conduit bending, and equipment installation tasks.
- Work on renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical systems or installing new infrastructure in compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and testing devices; repair or replace faulty components promptly.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes.




- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely completion of electrical work while adhering to project specifications.

Skills

- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with precision.
- Proven industrial electrician experience with a solid understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, along with power tools like drills and saws.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving complex electrical systems.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems used in security alarms, data networks, or communication systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control in industrial environments.
- Handyman experience is a plus for troubleshooting miscellaneous electrical issues efficiently.
