CARPENTER (COMMERCIAL) — VICTORIA, BC Brenric Construction Ltd.

We're a Victoria-based commercial construction management company that's been in the market for over 40 years. Small enough that you'll know everyone on the team. Established enough that the work is steady, the clients are serious, and the projects are compelling. We're looking for a skilled commercial carpenter who wants to do good work and be treated like a professional — not babysat.

What the work looks like:

You'll be moving between commercial interior renovation sites across Victoria — think tenant improvement, office fit-outs, healthcare and institutional spaces. Monday to Friday, indoors, no two projects exactly alike. Door and hardware installation, steel stud framing, backing, drywalling, trim, millwork, finishing work — the full range of commercial carpentry.

You'll work independently most of the time, with trades and team members around when you need them. We use Smartsheet for field coordination, so basic computer comfort is useful.

What we're looking for: You have solid commercial carpentry experience (5+ years), can read drawings, and take ownership of your work from start to finish. You're organized, self-motivated, and comfortable being the person on site who figures things out. You'll need your own basic hand and power tools and reliable transportation to get between sites.
