We are currently seeking a Journeyperson Sprinkler Systems Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and extensive experience in fire protection systems inspection, testing, installation, and maintenance.

This role requires an individual who can work independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform inspection, testing, maintenance, and installation of fire protection systems.
- Troubleshoot fire protection system issues efficiently in the field.
- Complete required documentation and inspection reports accurately.
- Communicate with clients professionally regarding system issues, recommendations, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism, including when dealing with difficult situations.
- Work independently while managing service calls and scheduled inspections.

Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson certification in Sprinkler Systems Installation
- Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA 25
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Proven experience in Fire Protection Service
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience completing inspections and installation components
- Client-focused with strong communication skills
- Experience working with: Fire pumps, Dry Systems, Clean Agent Systems,



Standpipes, Antifreeze Systems, Hydrants, and Fire Protection Valves.
- Experience operating elevated work platforms (scissor lifts and boom lifts)
- Valid CSTS certificate
- Willingness to work out of the Calgary area as needed
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Additional Considerations (Preferred)
- Certification in fire extinguisher inspections (proof required)
- Training in kitchen suppression inspections/installations (proof required)
- Training in paint booth suppression inspections/installations (proof required)·
- Ability to obtain Reliability and Secret clearance for Government work
- Current certifications: Backflow / AWWA, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, First Adi, Confined Space, and H2S.
