Join our dynamic finance team as a Junior Assistant to the Controller and play a vital role in supporting our accounting and financial operations. You will work closely with senior finance professionals to ensure accurate financial data entry, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist with various administrative tasks that keep our financial processes running smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and in house programs
- Support accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
- Support accounts receivable functions including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Help prepare payroll data and support payroll processing activities
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across multiple ledgers and financial reports.




- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as journal entries, expense tracking, and maintaining organized financial documentation.
- Contribute to budgeting activities by compiling relevant data and supporting account analysis efforts.

Skills

- Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage,
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with payroll systems is a plus.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of account reconciliation techniques and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately for account analysis and budgeting purposes.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and support internal stakeholders.
