The Role

RB Digital is looking for a Junior E-Commerce Coordinator to join our team at our Toronto office.

This is an entry-level position that will initially focus heavily on product research, data entry, image preparation, and organizing product information as we work through a significant backlog of products that need to be added to our website.

You will research products using manufacturer and supplier websites, competitor websites, online documentation, and other available resources to gather everything required to build complete and accurate online product listings.

Initially, you will compile and organize this information into standardized spreadsheets that will be provided to our web development team for publishing.

However, we don't want this position to remain purely data entry.

As you become familiar with our products and industry, you'll begin to understand how different equipment, accessories, supplies, and consumables relate to one another, how products should be categorized, and how customers shop for them. Over time,



the goal is for you to take on greater responsibility for managing products and content directly within Shopify.

What You'll Do

- Research new and existing products using manufacturer, supplier, competitor, and other online resources
- Gather and organize product information including product names, SKUs, descriptions, features, specifications, technical information, images, videos, brochures, manuals, spec sheets, and other supporting documents
- Compile product information into standardized spreadsheets for our web development team
- Compare information across multiple sources to ensure product data is complete and accurate
- Use Adobe Photoshop to resize, crop, clean up, and prepare product images for the website
- Use Adobe Illustrator to make basic adjustments to vector artwork and product graphics when required
- Follow established standards for product titles, descriptions, specifications, images, documents, and other website content
- Learn how our Shopify catalogue is structured, including products, collections, categories, tags, vendors, accessories, consumables, and related products
- Develop an understanding of the different technologies, brands, equipment, and supplies RB Digital sells
- Learn how products relate to one another and where they belong within our online catalogue
- Help identify missing, outdated, or inconsistent information on existing product pages
- Assist with ongoing website catalogue cleanup and organization
- Eventually create, update, categorize, and maintain products directly within Shopify

What We're Looking For This is an entry-level position,



so we don't expect you to already be an expert in our industry.

We're looking for someone who is:

- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable researching unfamiliar products online
- Able to gather information from multiple sources and organize it clearly
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and large amounts of product information
- Experienced with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Familiar with Shopify and basic e-commerce concepts
- A strong internet researcher who knows how to find information when it isn't immediately available
- Comfortable with repetitive, detail-focused work
- Able to work independently and stay organized while managing a large number of products
- Curious and interested in learning about new products and technologies
- A strong written communicator

Previous experience with commercial printing, signage, apparel decoration, embroidery, laser engraving, or related industries is an asset, but not required.

Grow With the Role

One of the most important parts of this position is developing product and industry knowledge.

At first, you'll rely heavily on information provided by manufacturers, suppliers, and our internal team. As you gain experience, you'll begin recognizing different types of equipment, understanding what they do, knowing which accessories and consumables work with them, and identifying how products should be organized on our website.

The goal is for you to progress from collecting product information to understanding it.

As your knowledge and experience grow, so will your responsibilities within Shopify, e-commerce merchandising, product management, and website content.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position at RB Digital's Toronto office.

- You'll work alongside our product, web, marketing, sales, and technical teams, giving you exposure to both the products themselves and the people who sell, service, demonstrate, and market them.
