CAD $18–$28 per hour

Current Integration Studio designs and installs architectural lighting, lighting controls, motorized shades, audio-video, networking, security and smart-home systems for custom residential projects throughout the GTA.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on person who wants to build a career in low-voltage installation and smart-home technology. Relevant practical experience is welcome, and training is provided for candidates who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

- Assist with low-voltage rough-in and finished installations.
- Pull, route, protect, label and organize cabling.
- Learn or perform cable termination and testing.
- Assist with speakers, televisions, equipment racks, cameras, wireless access points, shades and related equipment.
- Follow drawings, wire schedules and installation instructions.
- Protect finished surfaces and maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Help senior technicians with testing and troubleshooting.
- Handle tools and materials safely.

Requirements




- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Reliable personal transportation to our warehouse at 131 Whitmore Road and changing GTA project sites.
- Attention to detail, punctuality and respectful conduct.
- Comfortable with construction-site and installation duties, with accommodation where applicable.
- Communication sufficient for safe work and understanding instructions.
- Ontario G driver’s licence preferred.

Construction, electrical, cabling, telecom, security, AV, networking, automotive electronics or finish-carpentry experience is helpful. Canadian experience is not required. International experience is valued. Permanent full-time, primarily Monday–Friday with occasional overtime. Training and opportunities for increased responsibility are provided. This is a technician/helper role, not a registered apprenticeship. No company vehicle or benefits are currently included as standard.
