risks, and timelines with internal teams to support smooth day-to-day operations and minimize disruption to members and staff. You will identify and address maintenance needs before they escalate by taking initiative and contributing to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and preventative maintenance practices. You will also approach work with a member-first mindset, recognizing the impact of facility conditions on the overall YMCA experience. In addition you will…Collaborate closely with Health & Wellness and other departments to ensure facility operations align with program delivery and member experience goalsPrioritize and manage competing demands effectively, balancing urgent repairs with planned maintenance and scheduled workBuild and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external contractors to support efficient and high-quality project executionDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety by promoting best practices, identifying potential risks, and supporting a safe environment for members, staff, and volunteersMaintain, service and repair (or coordinate support for) all pool equipment, fitness equipment and other building equipmentOperate pool and spa and ensure all legislated compliance requirements are met, including record keeping; maintain pool chemistryand filtration to ensure systems remain within acceptable parametersEnsure preventative maintenance and mechanical inspections are performed, documented, and continuously improved for all facility equipmentPurchase and replace equipment and services in partnership with the Facility Lead, including sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotes in alignment with budget expectationsSupport the maintenance and monitoring of HVAC and BAS systems in partnership with third-party contractorsDiagnose and repair defective equipment as requiredMaintain mechanical equipment, power tools, and associated resources to support safe and effective work practicesPerform general maintenance duties to ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and in good working conditionCoordinate and support the scheduling, execution, and follow-up of planned and unplanned projects, including working with and overseeing external contractors where appropriateSupport fire safety planning, including participation in fire drills and routine safety inspectionsProvide on-call support for facility and pool-related issues as requiredWhat will you bringIdeally you will be an individual who is service oriented with a strong work ethic,
