OverviewWe are looking for a Production Group Leader to supervise a unionized group of hourly employees at an Oshawa Assembly Plant or other locations. The role focuses on quality, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise hourly employees in a unionized workplace.Implement health & safety laws and promote a safe work environment.Ensure quality levels are maintained and improved daily.Maintain and exceed efficiency levels through continuous improvements.Use personnel, materials, and equipment effectively.Align with local and national labour agreements.Maintain department records and complete administrative tasks.Achieve business plan objectives and targets.Work shift rotations, including weekends and overtime as required.Required Qualifications3rd or 4th year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, or a related field.Eligibility to work full‑time in Canada for 8‑12 consecutive semesters starting September 2026.Willingness to work in a plant environment and on shift work, weekends,



and overtime.Preferred QualificationsPrior manufacturing or automotive industry experience.Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience.Desired SkillsOutstanding leadership, interpersonal, and relationship‑management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.High integrity, initiative, and self‑direction.Creative, customer‑centric thinking.Project management and multitasking abilities.Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.Basic digital literacy (MS Office).Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $4,264 – $4,784 CAD per month. No relocation or immigration sponsorship available.Eligibility & RelocationThe position does not support relocation costs, and this role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
