Thursdays 9:45 - 2:00 PM with the ability to get cross trained on cash for more shifts.
About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic and reliable team member to join our Kids Funzone crew at Shelmerdine Garden Center! This role is a combination of concession stand, ride operator, and floater cashier duties. If you enjoy working with families, creating a fun atmosphere, and being part of a busy seasonal attraction, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate kids’ rides safely and ensure all safety procedures are followed
- Provide excellent customer service to families and children
- Assist at the concession stand with food and beverage sales, restocking, and cleanup
- Operate cash register and process payments accurately
- Make hot dogs, and coffee for customers
- Float between positions as needed to support team coverage
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests
- Follow all health, safety, and company policies
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable working with children and families
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work Thursdays and Fridays
- Able to handle a rapid-paced environment and multitask
- Previous food handling experience would be considered an asset
