Job Summary The Hotel at Falcon Lake is looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced Kitchen Cook to join our Culinary team.

Our Food & Beverage operation includes 1964, our elevated Italian-inspired steakhouse, Black Bear Tavern, Sinatra’s Lounge, as well as private dinners, catering, banquets and special events throughout the property.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their food, works well as part of a team and can maintain quality and consistency in both casual and upscale dining environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portioning
- Complete daily food preparation and station setup
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Maintain a clean, organized and properly stocked workstation
- Follow food safety, sanitation and protected food-handling procedures
- Properly label, rotate and store food products
- Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries
- Minimize food waste and use products responsibly
- Assist with banquets, catering, private dinners and special events
- Communicate effectively with the culinary and service teams
- Complete opening, closing and cleaning duties as required





What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen or line-cook experience preferred
- Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional kitchen
- Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness, consistency and presentation
- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards and direction from the Chef
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
- Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle preferred

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
