Miso Sushi is a casual Japanese and Korean restaurant in Valleyview, Kamloops. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for someone who is available to work 22-40 hours per week, with potential weekend shifts, and can work until closing at 9:00 PM.
Previous restaurant kitchen experience is preferred, especially experience working in a Japanese or Korean restaurant.
Wage is negotiable based on experience. Tips are provided in addition to the hourly wage.
Responsibilities
- Cooking at the tempura station
- Preparing ingredients
- Maintaining a clean kitchen area
- Dishwashing
- Assisting with other kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment
- Familiarity with Japanese or Korean food is preferred
Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 22.0 – 40.0 per week
