Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and storage spaces.
- Support food handling procedures by adhering to hygiene protocols and safety regulations.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to ensure an environmentally friendly workspace.
- Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, and cleaning materials as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food service and uphold high standards of hospitality.
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards is essential.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic understanding of food handling, preparation, and kitchen safety practices.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience in food service or hotel environments is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
