Duties

- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including washing vegetables, peeling, and organizing ingredients for cooking
- Clean plates, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items according to safety standards
- Support the kitchen staff during busy service times by providing timely assistance with cleaning or prep work




- Dispose of waste properly and manage recycling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent contamination or accidents in the kitchen

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
- Experience with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or food prep tools is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
