We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our pizza restaurant team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, pizza making, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized kitchen.

This is a fast-paced position that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to preparing high-quality food. Previous pizza or restaurant experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
- Make and cook pizzas according to restaurant recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with preparing other menu items, including appetizers, sides, and specialty dishes.
- Portion and organize ingredients for daily service.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, dough equipment, fryers, and food preparation equipment safely.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including counters, equipment, utensils, and preparation areas.
- Properly label, rotate, store, and refrigerate food products.
- Monitor ingredient levels and notify management when supplies need to be restocked.
- Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries.




- Work efficiently during busy periods to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
- Follow restaurant recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Assist other team members as needed to maintain smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pizza store, restaurant, or commercial kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Experience making pizzas or working with pizza dough is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and food safety practices is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active kitchen duties.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, quality, and order accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn pizza preparation, cooking techniques, and restaurant procedures.
- Must be available to work adaptable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
