Wayver Rentals Inc. is in Fort McMurray, AB, is currently seeking a full-time labourer to join our team. We are looking for team players that are self-motivated, safety conscience, require minimal supervision and can interact directly with customer in a positive manner.
This is a field position at CNRL Horizon, with most of the work done outside, year-round and in all weather conditions. This position will require interaction with mining and construction equipment and experience with mine driving will be an asset. Work will also be required around and on open bodies of water.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fueling construction equipment and boats
- Pressure washing vehicles, boats and construction equipment
- Filling propane tanks
- Maintaining bird deterrents
- Performing a wide variety of jobs using basic construction skills and/or operating some powered equipment
- Perform other activities to assist with operators or technicians as required
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment & housekeeping in immediate work areas, shop and field
- Participating in daily toolbox talk and weekly safety meetings
- Adhering to all safety rules and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Limited field experience, 2 year’s labour experience is preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- Subject to drug and alcohol testing
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Schedule & Salary:
- 7 days on 7 days off shift, 12 hour days
- $28 per hour
