Overview

Small but rapidly growing landscape construction business looking for a hard-working team member who has previous experience in the field

- install interlocking pavers, walkways, patios, driveways, steps, & retaining walls
- perform concrete work including forming, mixing, pouring, finishing & repairs
- complete site preparation including excavation, grading, compaction & drainage work
- lifting heavy objects like stone, concrete bags, etc.
- placing, spreading and grading soil, mulch or aggregate
- build pressure-treated, cedar, composite, & PVC decks
- construct wood privacy fences & pergola structures
- planting gardens including larger trees, shrubs, etc.
- occasionally joining the landscape crew to assist with weeding, lawn mowing, trimming. fall cleanup, etc.

- operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, compactors & dump trailers
- driving a larger truck (F-550) with a dump box and trailer
- winter snow removal work using snow blowers, hand shovelling, salters, plow trucks and machines
- conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
- maintain a safe & organized job site and enforce health & safety procedures
- ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and company quality standards
- appropriate communication and conduct with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, co-workers and clients at all times

We need...

- previous experience with landscape construction &/or similar industries
- comfortable working with power tools,



small machines & larger equipment in all weather

- physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs
- has a valid G driver's license
- positive, upbeat attitude and able to work in a team environment
- strong work ethic
- ability to follow instructions & take direction

- complies with safety requirements at all times
- high school diploma or equivalent
- physical stamina and health to work outdoors for extended periods in the heat
- able to work 8-10 hr workday during the week, Monday to Friday, in the spring/summer/fall with the option to work weekends

- able to work night and weekend shifts during the winter months as needed
- shows up on time, every time
