We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of outdoor landscaping, maintenance, and construction tasks to ensure the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and landscape work, along with the ability to operate various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Perform gardening duties including pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and weed control
- Conduct general landscape maintenance to keep outdoor areas clean and attractive
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently for various tasks
- Support construction projects related to outdoor space development or renovation
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times during outdoor work activities
Skills
- Experience with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening,
and horticulture is preferred
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and construction techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining power tools and hand tools
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments
- Positive communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members
- Prior experience in landscaping or construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided for necessary skills
- class 5 valid drivers license required
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
