L'assistant(e) au soutien à l'inclusion travaille en étroite collaboration avec les éducateurs et l'équipe de la garderie pour favoriser l'inclusion et la participation d'un enfant ayant des besoins particuliers au sein de l'établissement. L'enfant présente une déficience auditive, n'est pas autonome dans ses déplacements, accuse des retards de développement et ne communique pas verbalement.
La personne retenue apportera un soutien individualisé et concret tout en veillant au bien-être, à la sécurité, au développement, à la communication et à la participation de l'enfant aux activités quotidiennes. Ce poste requiert une personne calme, patiente et bienveillante, possédant les aptitudes physiques nécessaires pour effectuer des transferts et apporter une aide au déplacement.
Job Summary The Inclusion Support Assistant works closely with the educators and the daycare team to support the inclusion and participation of a child with special needs in the daycare environment. The child has a hearing impairment, is not independently mobile, has developmental delays, and is non-verbal.
The successful candidate will provide individualized, hands-on support while encouraging the child’s comfort, safety, development, communication, and participation in daily activities. This position requires a calm, patient, caring, and physically capable individual who is comfortable providing transfers and mobility assistance.
Pay: From $20.60 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
