Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and physically capable individual to join our plant team. This role is the engine of our business. Every mat, towel, linen, and coverall that goes back out to a client passes through your hands first.

You will run our washers and dryers, process mats, sort and fold linens, count and package orders, and get finished carts staged and ready for the drivers. The work is hands-on, physical, and steady. It follows a daily rhythm, and the clients are counting on it.

Key Responsibilities

Laundry and Mat Production

- Operate industrial washers and dryers, following our wash formulas for each item type and material.
- Sort incoming soiled goods by client, item, and wash type.
- Dry, press, fold, and package mats, towels, linens, coveralls, and uniforms to standard.
- Identify stains and damaged items, and set them aside for recleaning or repair.
- Count and verify items against the delivery sheet so the client gets exactly what they are billed for.
- Flag quality problems early rather than letting them go out on a truck.

Plant Upkeep and Safety

- Assist with opening and closing the plant, including machine start-up, shutdown, and end-of-day cleanup.
- Keep your work area, floors, and walkways clean, clear, and organized.
- Perform basic machine care such as cleaning lint traps and filters, and report any machine issue immediately.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any incident, near miss, or hazard right away.
- Assist with weekly inventory counts.

Customer Service & Communication





- Provide friendly and professional service to clients.
- Work alongside the plant team and the drivers to get carts loaded and ready before the afternoon cut-off.
- Communicate clearly with your team lead about workload, delays, and anything that needs a decision.
- Help train recent plant team members once you are up to speed.
- Assist with deliveries or plant loading when required.

What Success Looks Like

- Every route cart is complete, accurate, and staged on time.
- Client goods go out clean, folded to standard, and counted correctly.
- The plant is left clean and ready for the next morning.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform physically demanding work for a full shift, including standing, bending, and repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous experience in a commercial laundry, dry cleaning, production, warehouse, or housekeeping role is preferred, but we will train the right person.
- Attention to detail and comfort working with counts and quantities.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality. The plant runs on a schedule.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and to work steadily without being managed step by step.
- Comfortable working in a warm, humid environment with machine noise.
- A positive, team-first attitude.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is an asset.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
