What the Role Involves The Lead Carpenter will oversee day-to-day site operations while remaining hands-on in the work. Responsibilities include coordinating trades, managing workflow, interpreting plans, maintaining site standards, and supporting crew members throughout the build process.

Projects require someone who can:

- Lead with confidence and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient site
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and trades
- Mentor apprentices and junior carpenters
- Solve problems calmly and proactively
- Deliver high-quality workmanship consistently
- Balance leadership with hands-on carpentry work

Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of residential construction experience
- Strong carpentry background in framing, finishing, and custom residential work
- Previous leadership or foreman experience is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Compensation

- Full time position
- Monday to Friday
- Pay range: CA$30–$42/hour based on experience
