Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of "Bread-and-Butter" Dentistry procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and organizing materials efficiently.
- Update dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records accurately using Tracker electronic health record systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Dental Assistant with state certification or registration.
- Proven experience in dental assisting
- Proficiency in Tracker Dental Software to manage patient records efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication.
- Experience with CAD technology for imaging or designing dental appliances is a plus.
- Robust communication skills to serve as an effective liaison between patients and the dental team.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
