They are known for their robust tenant relationships and a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor junior team members and senior accountants, ensuring high performance and professional development.Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, providing guidance and resolving issues as they arise.Ensure internal controls are effectively implemented and maintained, making recommendations for process improvements.Review and approve month‑end reports and variance analysis,
ensuring accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.Manage fixed asset accounting and recoverable amortization schedules in line with company policies.Oversee monthly recurring journal entries and ensure recovery accuracy.Lead the budget process, including property tax budgets and recovery assumptions.Oversee MPAC reporting and annual recovery reconciliations.Monitor daily bank activity and manage fund transfers to ensure adequate liquidity.Provide financial planning insights based on cash flow timelines.Manage vendor relationships and oversee corporate HST returns.Handle payroll and government remittances (T4s, ROEs, etc.).Support stakeholders with financial advice and problem‑solving.Requirements5+ years of accounting experience in real estate or property management, with supervisory experience.Excellent leadership and problem‑solving skills.Solid communication skills—able to engage with stakeholders and team members effectively.High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
