Your RoleWe are currently seeking a Junior Civil Engineer for our Pickering, ON office.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in preparing civil designs, including calculations, construction details and drawings, for stormwater systems, site layout and grading.Design work will be executed in a 3D setting utilizing state of the art 3D modelling software to simulate as-found field topography as well as final grading design to demonstrate poste development conditions.Ability to perform design, including preparation of calculations, material lists, drawings, technical and construction specifications.Reports to department manager and assists in preparation of design estimates, construction costs and proposal submissions.Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications.QualificationsUniversity Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is preferred.Registered or eligible to register with the PEO as a P.ENG2 plus years of experience in design in municipal and linear infrastructure systems and structures.Experience in linear infra structure design including but not limited to: site development, drainage, grading, site utilities, erosion control, and roadway design.Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to obtain a security clearanceCompensationThe expected annual compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000 per annum.Additional InformationA requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada.If you are considered for the position, clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal, identity, educational and security) and professional reference checks are required.Some Tetra Tech positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law, and may require advanced criminal record checks periodically after commencement of employment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
