Commercial Insurance Associate – Hub InternationalAs a Commercial Insurance Associate, you will apply your attention to detail and client service skills while working with Producers and Marketers on our commercial accounts. You will build long‑term relationships, handle client inquiries, and manage policy documentation.A Day in the LifeAssist producers and marketers with servicing commercial accounts.Meet client needs and process documentation: certificates of insurance, cover notes, renewals, proposals, endorsements, in‑house policies, invoicing, finance contracts, customer correspondence.Review and ensure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers before forwarding to the client.Contact clients for renewal information.Take client calls and answer coverage questions while processing online quotes.Negotiate with insurers on coverage and price to best meet client needs in conjunction with the producer.Update client information as changes occur.Answer account‑related questions or requests from clients, lawyers,



and banks.Provide policy and coverage information upon request or inquiry.Perform regular duties to support the floater position.What You Will BringLevel 2 insurance license or willingness to obtain.Self‑motivated with a strong sense of urgency.Ability to work in a diverse, team‑based environment.Minimum one year of commercial insurance experience as an advisor.Pro‑active, self‑starter with keen attention to detail.Strong customer service focus and ability to deliver positive client experiences.Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present and influence at all levels.Works well in a fast‑paced, client‑focused workplace.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Industry designations such as CIP, CAIB, CRM, or a general insurance & risk management diploma are an asset.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation structure includes a base salary of $45,000 to $55,000 plus commissions based on sales performance. Benefits may include extended health, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid‑time‑off, and eligibility for bonuses.Experience, Travel, and RequirementsRequired Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience.
