Your Day-to-Day
Lead period-end and year-end reporting, analysis, and reconciliations, including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries to support an accurate and timely close.
Consolidate multi-entity trial balances and prepare consolidated, multi-currency financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and supporting notes in Microsoft Excel.
Partner with teams across the business to support recurring departmental and fixed asset reporting requirements, and ensure accurate coding of expenses and journal entries.
Support financial statement audits and other audits by preparing draft financial statements, schedules, responding to requests, and coordinating with stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to implement and enhance financial systems such as IFS.
Identify prospects to improve processes and controls, creating efficiencies, reducing costs, and helping the business achieve its goals.

What You'll Bring




CPA designation and 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Robust full-cycle accounting experience, including ownership of period-end close activities.
Experience preparing consolidated, multi-currency financial statements, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and supporting notes.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience building reports with PowerQuery and PowerPivot is a strong asset. Experience with IFS is considered an asset but is not required.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Location: Richmond, BC (in office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays working from home) Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 base salary, plus a 10% bonus
