We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook with Mexican cuisine specialty to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers. Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen setting
- Familiarity with various Mexican cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
