Papi's Country Kitchen is currently seeking Full Time Prep/ Line Cooks

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining consistency, quality, and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food prep including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, portioning ingredients, and stocking stations before service.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including work stations, equipment, coolers, and storage areas throughout shift.
- Communicate effectively with Kitchen Staff and Front of House team to ensure accurate and efficent order flow during service.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock, shortages, or product concerns.
- Properly operate kitchen equipment including grilles, fryers, ovens, slicers, and prep equipment in a safe manner.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and storing products following FIFO procedures.
- Work effciently under pressure during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ensure Dishes leaving the kitchen meet company standards for taste, apperance, and portioning.




- Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties including cleaning, restocking, and preparing for the next shift.

Requirements: - Previous cooking or kitchen experience strongly preferred.

- Strong communication & team work skills in a fast paced environment.
- Well organized, able to multi task & self motivated.
- Food Safety Certification is considered an asset.
- Abillity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when required.
- Must Maintain a positive attitude and professional apperance during shifts.
- Must reside in the Medicine Hat Alberta area

Working Conditions:

- Must be availble to work Full Time hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed on a flexible schedule.
- Fast paced Kitchen Environment with exposure to heat, kitchen equipment, and busy service periods.
- Must be able to lift 50 Ibs
- Must have apropiate Non- Slip shoes
